A wanted fugitive was arrested by Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies on Friday.

Thirty-Three-year-old Nathaniel Brown was arrested Friday and has bonds totaling about $100,000. One charge is for violation of a bond for evading arrest and detention, and there are four fugitive warrants from Cotton County.

Brown was arrested in April after Archer County deputies stopped to check on a car with a flat tire. They say when a DPS trooper also stopped, Brown took off running. They say there was an outstanding warrant for evading arrest.

Authorities say he was arrested in a field off FM 2650 after about an hour's foot chase.

He was arrested last year for another evading arrest and also charged with burglary with intent to commit sexual assault with an object of his estranged wife. Police say when they arrived at the home, Brown fled out the back door.

The latter charge was later dismissed.
