THE POLITICAL WATERS HAVE CLEARED UP EVEN MORE AFTER LAST NIGHT'S PRIMARY SWEEP BY GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MITT ROMNEY.

A GINGRICH SPOKESMAN TELLS NBC NEWS THAT WITHDRAWAL ANNOUNCEMENT DETAILS ARE BEING WORKED OUT.
ROMNEY WON LARGE VICTORIES IN ALL FIVE PRIMARIES LAST NIGHT...INCLUDING DELAWARE, WHERE GINGRICH HAD CAMPAIGNED HEAVILY AND PINNED HIS HOPES FOR A VICTORY.
THE FORMER HOUSE SPEAKER ACKNOWLEDGED DURING A CAMPAIGN EVENT THIS MORNING THAT ROMNEY "IS ULTIMATELY GOING TO BE THE NOMINEE"...WHILE CLAIMING HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BETTER G-O-P CANDIDATE. "You have to give him some credit. This guy has worked 6 years, put together a big machine and has put together a serious campaign. I think obviously that I would be a better candidate. But the objective fact is the voters didn't think that."
GINGRICH ENDS HIS EFFORT WITH VICTORIES IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA AND GEORGIA PRIMARIES...AFTER SURVIVING A NEAR-COLLAPSE OF HIS CAMPAIGN LAST SUMMER.
