Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the Midwestern State University Board of Regents for terms to expire Feb. 25, 2020.

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the Midwestern State University Board of Regents for terms to expire Feb. 25, 2020.

Caven Crosnoe of Wichita Falls is an attorney and president of Sherrill, Crosnoe and Goff. He is a sustaining life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a member of the American and Wichita County Bar associations, and the State Bar of Texas and its Securities Law Committee, and a board member of Fidelity Bank of Wichita Falls. He is also past president of the West Foundation Board of Trustees, past vice chairman of the Hardin Foundation for Wichita Falls Board of Trustees, past chairman of the Midwestern State University Foundation Board of Trustees, and past board chairman of the YMCA Wichita Falls and Wichita General Service Corporation. Crosnoe received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.

Shawn Hessing of Fort Worth is a certified public accountant and CFO of Oak Hill Capital Partners. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a board member of the Fort Worth Zoo and past member of Young Life Fort Worth. Hessing received a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University. He is reappointed to the board.

Nancy Marks of Wichita Falls is a retired Partners in Education coordinator for the Wichita Falls Independent School District. She is a trustee of The Priddy Foundation and Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, sustaining member and past president of the Junior League of Wichita Falls, vice president of the Boys and Girls Club Board of Wichita Falls, welcome center coordinator for First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, and a member of the Midwestern State University Alumni Association. She is also a past co-chairman of the American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball of Wichita Falls and past chairman of Hospice of Wichita Falls. Marks received a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University.
