The case of a man, who was found dead from blunt force trauma in Megargel two months ago, will go to the grand jury next month.
The body of 54 year old Billy Jack Stevens, Sr. was found on April 23rd by a passer-by.
Archer County investigators say Stevens was in the front yard of a home in the 600 block of 5th Street with injuries that were consistent with blunt force trauma.
Sheriff's officials say no arrest has been made but they do have a "person of interest."
The sheriff's office has turned over the case to the district attorney.
And on August 5th, the case is set to go before the grand jury to determine if there is enough evidence for an indictment.
