Habitat Needs Young Volunteers for Youth Build

Habitat for Humanity is encouraging young people to help others this summer.
Area students are now well into their summer vacation and if they're bored, Habitat for Humanity has a way they can be put to work!

The non-profit is kicking off their first ever youth build this weekend.

Young people ages 16 to 25 are invited to help build a home for a Wichita Falls family in need.

Volunteers will work on the home throughout the summer and can lend a hand whenever they have free time

The youth build kicks off Saturday at 8 a.m.

Work on the house will continue Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 in the morning for the rest of the summer.

To find out how to volunteer, call Chris de la Garza at Habitat for Humanity at (940) 716-9300.
