Help bring kids back: Project Back to School

Volunteers needed for Project back to School

According to Project Back to School, 60 percent of children in the Wichita Falls School District are economically disadvantaged.

So to help get these kids ready for when the school bell rings project back to school is asking for your help.

School supplies and backpacks will be passed out during the back to school round up on Saturday, August 18th.

And they need volunteers.

"It's about preparing for school and making sure they get everything they need for a great start for the first day of school," Rachel Wheat, a member of the Project Back to School Steering Committee said.

If you can't give your time, you can always buy school supplies for the drive.

School supplies can be purchased at United Market Street and all Walmart locations.
