Hobby Lobby Stores, which is a privately held retail chain with more than 500 arts and crafts stores in 41 states, and including a store right here in Wichita Falls, has filed a lawsuit against the Health and Human Services mandate. The company filed the suit yesterday in U.S. District Court in Oklahoma against the mandate which would force the christian- owned and operated business to provide, without co-pay, the "morning after pill" and "week after pill" in its health insurance plan. If the company doesn't comply, it would be fined up to $1.3 million dollars per day. Hobby Lobby is the largest and only non-catholic-owned business to file a lawsuit against the Health and Human Services mandate.
