In just a few days thousands and thousands of people will descend upon Wichita Falls for the 33rd annual Hotter'N Hell Hundred bike ride.

People from around the country and all over the world will be competing in a number of events.

The most famed one of course being the grueling 100 mile bike ride.

Organizers say there is something for everyone to get involved with from the 100 mile ride, to kids competitions, and opportunities to volunteer.

They say it's a big undertaking but in the end it is worth it to bring such a quality event to the falls.

The Hotter'N Hell countdown has begun and organizers are excited to share the fun with Texoma and the many who travel in from around the world.

“The electricity on the start line on Saturday morning right before 7 when, you  stand anywhere on Scott Street and you can't see an empty street,” says Sandy Monson with HHH.

Monson says riding the famous or infamous 100 mile ride is a great experience but even if it's not for you there are plenty of ways to take part in the big weekend.

From shopping at the consumer show Thursday.

“Bike shorts, running shorts, bike shoes anything that you could put on a bicycle, full bicycles, tandems, racing bike, helmets,” says Monson.

To enjoying family fun on Friday while letting the kids feel like they are in the middle of the main event on the Wee-Chi-Tah trail.

“Free race for little kids twelve and under, it's less than two miles they get to start in the starting shoot just like the adult mountain bikers, it's a big big deal and they get the same finisher award as the adults do,” says Monson.

Or if watching is more your speed Monson says it's a great experience to just watch the action and cheer on those hoping to move on to national competitions.

“The crit are Friday and Sunday those are so much fun to watch when you have 100 or 120 really fast guys scream past you on a corner going 35 miles an hour it's amazing, it's a lot of fun,” says Monson.

Of course none of the events would be possible without the support of Texomans.

“We can not do this without the support of Wichita Falls 4500 volunteers makes this thing happen it's crazy the amount of work people are willing to give to support this event,” says Monson.

Whatever your style, speed, ability or involvement Hotter'N Hell Hundred 2014 weekend has what it takes to make your final few weeks of summer unforgettable.
