Hotter'N Hell Hundred Underway with Opening of Consumer Show

The biggest event in Wichita Falls has rolled into town for yet another year. Hotter'N Hell Hundred 2014 officially got underway as the consumer show opened Thursday afternoon.
The Hotter'N Hell Hundred, the nation's largest century bike ride, kicks off each year with the opening of the consumer show.

Jeanie Boyd, consumer show coordinator, says, "We have 89 vendors that come in from different places in Texas and surrounding states."

The show is a one-stop shop and is open not only to registered riders but anyone who wants to shop.

"We have everything from bicycle gear and apparel," Boyd says. "All the newest and latest that you can imagine."

Each year, shoppers look forward to picking up the most fashionable and high tech items.

"We're always trying to bring something new to the consumer show," Boyd says.

The consumer show stays open until 9 p.m. Thursday.

It will re-open at 1 Friday afternoon and will stay open until 10 p.m.

It will then be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
