House Of Horrors Demolished

Crews knock down home of Ariel Castro, where three kidnapped women were held captive for nearly a decade.
(NBC News) City crews in Cleveland are demolishing what has been described as a house of horrors, the home where Ariel Castro held and tortured three young women for nearly ten years.

Bulldozers and backhoes began tearing-away the walls of the house early Wednesday morning.

Michelle Knight, the woman held captive the longest, returned to watch the demolition with yellow balloons and a message of hope.

"I wanted to be here today because no one was there for me when I was missing, and I want the people out there including the mothers that they can have strength they can have hope," Knight said.
