Lawton Man Murdered

<br>A Lawton man was found murdered early Saturday Evening, and now authorities are looking for those responsible.

A Lawton man is dead, after being gunned down last night.

Now police are looking for the three individuals believed to be behind the cities third murder of 2013.

According to Lawton Police, officers responded to a call of a gunshot victim at a home in the 2300 block of Southwest Evans Street just after Saturday night.

Police say they found a man lying on the porch of a home there.

They say that man was Lavonte Jackson and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

"We have completed the investigation at the crime scene and we are still interviewing individuals that may have heard something, may have seen something around the area and we're following up on any leads that we get." Said Lawton Police Captain Craig Akard.

The investigation has led Lawton Police to believe the three suspects seen fleeing the scene are responsible for the crime.

"Described as three black males, one was wearing a green shirt, the other two were wearing some type of red tops and they left the scene north-bound in a black or dark colored SUV with a white female driving. " Said Akard.

Jackson's body has been transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy.
