Lubbock Police are searching tonight for a bank robbery suspect and are casting a wide dragnet in the hopes of finding the thief.

Lubbock Police are searching tonight for a bank robbery suspect and are casting a wide dragnet in the hopes of finding the thief.

Authorities say a white male with brown or sandy blonde hair and wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, black beanie and sunglasses entered Alliance Federal Credit Union around 3:45 yesterday afternoon.

According to police, he gave a note to the teller indicating he was robbing the bank and demanding money.

The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money from the register. According to police, the suspect did not display a weapon and no one was injured. 

The suspect is approximately 5'10" to six feet tall and weighs between 200 to
215 pounds.

Authorities believe he was driving a smaller white 4-door SUV. If you have any information, please contact your local authorities.
