The WFISD Choice Program allows students to decide which middle or high school they want to attend.
Rider high school prides itself on the diversity the school has to offer every student who sets foot on the campus.
Eddie Randle shows us how students at rider are taking a popular phrase and turning it in to a campus motto.

The "One Family, One Team" phrase started at rider among players on the football team but over time that phrase has spread throughout the entire school.

"We're a family and its a big family type deal. That's what we're all about around here", says senior football player J.T. Barrett.

"Everybody supports everybody here basketball supports tennis everybody is positive and there is always people yelling that chant its all over the walls", said senior basketball player Taliyah Brooks.

These students say there is something for everyone on this campus and you don't have to focus on just one thing.
Senior Taylor Caswell is involved in just about every organization rider has to offer.
She says there's something unique about this school when it comes to supporting others.

"Its really special the  football team will come to our games and we'll all go to there's it goes with any sport baseball track and its not just with sports its in the classroom too", said Taylor Caswell.

Senior Jacob Myers he is part of the Future Farmers of America club at Rider.
He says it's not just the students who reach out to one another,  teachers also represent the one family one team motto, as well.

"Sometimes with those events you miss school and i feel the teachers really go the extra mile to stay after school or do tutoring and really help you to excel in the academic areas", Jacob Myers said.

"We're all part of this family and everyone buys in to it, everybody has a fit and your going to find your nich of whatever you want to be your going to find it here at rider and with being apart of the family that just makes it all the better", J.T. Barrett adds.
