Man Accused of Breaking into Businesses by Crawling through Ceiling

Thirty-five year-old Eric Russell is charged with four counts of burglary of a building.
A man accused of burglarizing a Wichita Falls convenience store back in December is back in jail after police say he broke into four stores in a strip mall near Sheppard Air Force Base.

Thirty-five year-old Eric Russell is charged with four counts of burglary of a building.

Police reports state last month, four businesses in the 1600 block of Pearlie Dr., including Hibiscus Cafe, had been burglarized.

They state officers noticed the burglar removed the electric meters from one business then made entry to the other business through wall vents and by removing ceiling tiles and crawling through the ceiling.

Russell was arrested after he and another man were found burglarizing another business using the same method.

He's jailed on $60,000 in bonds.
