A Wichita Falls man is now behind bars after police say a man burglarized and beat his ex-girlfriend with two different objects.

Twenty-seven year old Aaron Saldana was arrested this weekend for burglary / assault.

Early Saturday morning, police say he went to his ex-girlfriend's house on Gayle Avenue with a baseball bat and entered without permission. Police say he hit her with the bat and took her cell phone before she chased him out of the home. Police say Saldana then grabbed a pipe from his vehicle and hit his ex-girlfriend several more times before leaving.

Officers later found him at a home in the 2600 block of Holliday Road and arrested him. Saldana remains in the Wichita County jail on a $50,000 bond.
