56-year-old Randy Adams is facing charges for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and illegal discharge of a firearm after an incident early Wednesday morning. Adams has a criminal record which includes evading arrest, forgery and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Officers were called to a home on Paradise Street just after midnight, after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. By 2:30 am, dozens of officers were on scene and just before 3, SWAT entered the home.

Police say Adams was found unarmed, sitting on the couch. Police say officers did find a weapon inside the home that had recently been fired, but say no one was injured.

Adams bond has not been set at this time.
