Man Gets 20 Years in Prison After Sexual Assault Probation Revoked

James Ebmeyer is sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Probation is revoked for a man sentenced to probation in the 2004 sexual assault of a teenage girl.

Forty-eight year-old James Ebmeyer is now sentenced to 20 years in prison.

In 2004, he received 10 years probation for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Jan. 2003.

Ebmeyer told police he committed that act and that he knew what he did was wrong.

In April of last year, Ebmeyer violated that probation when he was arrested for hitting a woman with whom he was in a fight.

He also did not have permission by the court to leave the county, which was a condition of his probation.

He will receive 335 days credit for time he's already served in jail.
