"Miss Silver Buckle" is on the Mend

The horse statue was stolen from out front Tangles Salon in Wichita Falls last month.  It was found chopped up into pieces inside a local apartment.  Four people were arrested and charged in the theft.
The fiberglass horse statue that was stolen from a Wichita Falls store front and sawed into pieces is now on its way to be repaired.
"Miss Silver Buckle" is now in the possession of Frank Redmond, a custom car builder from Bowie.
Redmond says all he'll need to fix the statue is wire cutters, fiberglass, and his hands.
He says once he's done, "Miss Silver Buckle" will be a lot stronger than she used to be.
"She's in pieces and she's got a little sad story to tell.  I'm going to reinforce the head, the legs, and the tail," Redmond says.
As soon as he's done repairing the statue, he'll take it to the artist who will have to repaint some of the damaged parts.
Redmond says he hopes to have the statue back in front of tangles salon within three to four weeks.
