"Miss Silver Buckle" Thief Back in Jail

James May is charged with theft of service.
A new fiberglass horse statue is back in front of its home and one of the men convicted of destroying the original statue is back in jail.

Twenty-five year-old James May is charged with theft of service.

Jail records show he's also being held for violation of probation.

An arrest affidavit alleges he hasn't been paying fees for items he's buying from Rent-a-Center.

He's jailed on $40,000 in bonds.

May was convicted of stealing "Miss Silver Buckle" from Tangles Salon and cutting the statue into pieces in March 2012.

He received five years deferred adjudication for the charge of theft under $20,000.

A new "Miss Silver Buckle" statue was unveiled in front of the salon yesterday.
