Missing Persons Report Filed on Intoxication Manslaughter Defendant

Elizabeth Duerson's attorney says she's been missing since Tuesday, May 13.
A court document filed by an intoxication manslaughter defendant's attorney says she's missing.

There's also a report filed with the Wichita Falls Police Department that states Elizabeth Duerson went missing on Tuesday the 13th.

Last week, prosecutors filed paperwork to overthrow Duerson's appeal bond because she'd failed to report on her breathalyzer for two days.

According to her attorney's response to that motion, Duerson disappeared on the 13th and didn't take a vehicle, her cell phone, or any clothing.

It suggests Duerson is possibly a prisoner or in need of medical attention, as she's recently been suffering from seizures, disorientation, and confusion.

In December 2012, a 30th District Court jury found Duerson guilty of intoxication manslaughter for a January 2010 car accident that killed her brother.

She's out on her original bond while she appeals that punishment.
