Wichita Falls, TX. - Helping homeless kids in Texoma, that was the goal today at The Green Knights hird annual Mystery Run.

The motorcycle ride raises money for Children's Aid Society, they run two shelters in Wichita Falls, one for kids and one for teens.

Motorcyclists from around Texoma revved their motors and hit the road to help local kids, but where they would be riding was a mystery.

We don't know the route so it's gonna be fun figuring out our own route, we go from one stop to the next and at each stop they give us a clue to the next stop," says Blue Knight Member Russell Melvin.

Each rider pays an entry fee and all the money collected goes to Children's Aid Society.

"At Christmas time we buy their Christmas presents and we team up with Santa Claus and we go up there on Christmas eve and deliver them," says Green Knight President Richard Chamberlain.

The kids, when they have to be stuck there for Christmas, it's kinda hard so it's just a little something to brighten their day, show them somebody cares," says Chamberlain.

Shiela Choate with the Childern's Aid Society says they get a lot of donations around Christmas time but they aren't necessarily the items on the kids wishlist.

The money collected will help buy those extra special items.

Melvin says benefit rides are about different clubs supporting each other, working toward one common goal, and on beautiful days, it's always a lot of fun.

The money's kept local and it's a good excuse for us to get out and ride our motorcycles," says Melvin.
