Midwestern State University welcomed some international guests to campus Tuesday.
Representatives from the Changzhou Institute of Technology came to view the campus and learn more about the programs MSU offers.
Last year MSU signed an agreement that allows mechanical engineering students to complete two years of study at the China campus and their last two years at MSU.
Leaders from both campuses met with an interrupter and discussed the agreement and their goals moving forward.
Schools officials say the program is important to students because more jobs are expanding globally.
“There's an increasing number of students that will graduate here and work with students regardless of national boundaries all across the world, our graduates will travel the world,” says Vice President of Student Affairs Keith Lamb.
Students in the program will not be on MSU's campus for another year.
The CIT has four campuses and has over 15-thousand students enrolled.
