Munday High School Wins Football State Championship

After a long season, the undefeated Munday Moguls win the state chamionship.

It was a rematch of last year's two finalists in the state championship game at Cowboys Stadium this afternoon: The Munday Moguls and Tenaha Tigers.

With the score tied at 14 at the half this game had all the indications of a down to the wire thriller, but in the second half it was a different story all together.

Thanks to their 28 unanswerd points in the second half, the Moguls took home the state championship trophy with a 42 to 14 win over Tenaha, the team that beat the Moguls just a year ago in the state final.

Dee Paul was named the championship game MVP with over 250 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.
