If you drove by Natura World's mattress manufacturing plant off I-44 yesterday or today ...  you might have noticed a moving van in front of the building.
But Tim Chase, with the Chamber of Commerce & Industry, says movers were actually unloading mattresses and displays for a new show room.
A little more than a week ago, Natura's plant manager confirmed that 28 employees were laid off ... in the second round of layoffs since October.
Chase  says  Natura's CEO, Ralph Rossdeutscher traveled from Canada to Wichita Falls yesterday, and the two had a meeting today.

"While he is still working diligently to try to get some more orders for his company to manufacture mattresses ... at the moment, that isn't happening. I don't know what the future will bring ... but all I can tell you is that they are not moving out of the facilities at this point.  They are doing the opposite -- they're moving product in."
Chase says the company is planning to have a showroom, and believes there will be an opportunity for people to purchase mattresses from that showroom.
