Nebraska Family Says School Did Nothing to Stop Bullying

Family says school did nothing to stop violent bullying of their teenage daughter.

An Omaha, Nebraska mother is at the end of her rope.

She says her daughter has been bullied for years and now it's turned violent.

She is accusing a school district of not doing enough to stop it.

Sarah and Brad Odell say their daughter Cheyenne has been bullied since her freshman year at Millard South High School.

"She said they're throwing food at me in the lunchroom,'" says Sarah.

She says her daughter was attacked in the locker room and picked on constantly.

Then last Friday there was a fight. Cheyenne was lured to Andersen Middle School.

A girl from another school, Millard North, began fighting her while countless other students watched.

The school district said it cannot comment on individual students, but would say it takes bullying very seriously.
