Neff Receives 2014 Patsy Baggett Service Award

Randy Neff, who works with Child Protective Services, is the recipient of the 2014 Patsy Baggett Service Award.
Advocates for children in our area gathered today to celebrate a man who's made a difference in the lives of thousands of children.

Randy Neff is the recipient of this year's Patsy Baggett Service Award.

Neff works for Child Protective Services overseeing child support services for the region.

He's also been instrumental in several community initiatives to raise awareness about child abuse prevention and foster-adopt awareness, like the Heart Gallery campaign.

"I think that children just are, they have so much potential," Neff says. "They just need connections and relationships, and to have an opportunity to strengthen families and help children is just something that drives me."

The award was first given in 1997 to Patsy Baggett, named in her honor to celebrate the 42 years she advocated for area kids.

The plaque is displayed outside the Wichita County District Attorney's Office.
