The company has put in two rain water collection systems.

One will run a water feature that will be in- front of the new terminal, and the other will help provide water for future irrigation.

Some of that water is actually already being used to help facilitate construction so they do not have to haul in an extra supply.

“A function of the site work every time that we dig into the ground water is either used for dust control, used to mix with a lime material for base stabilization or ultimately for concrete,” says Dave Lilley with Trinity Hughes Construction.

Lilley says his company worked closely with city officials to come up with the rain water collection plan.
