One Accident, Minor Flooding from Rain Overnight

There was flash flooding in parts of Texoma overnight, and rising waters may have caused at least one crash overnight.
Rising waters may have caused a one car crash Wednesday morning and sent one man to the hospital.

Police say 37-year old Allen Pruitt was driving on 287 East to take the ramp toward Windthorst when he hit a pool of standing water. Officers say his car hydroplaned and slammed into a metal pole on the side of the ramp.

Officers say the car came to a stop but then rushing water pushed it into a nearby ditch filled with water. Emergency crews took Pruitt to United Regional where he was treated for his injuries and released.
