Wichita Falls, TX. - Two Wichita Falls Airports will be getting some renovations.
The city council approved two ordinances today that will help them improve and expand.
The Kickapoo Airport will be getting taxiway reconstruction, apron expansion and storm-water drainage reconstruction.
The cost will be funded through the Kickapoo Airport fund and Airport Bond Revenue.
The Wichita Falls Regional Airport will be getting a stone gate that will help clearly mark the entry way, a PA system that will better serve those that are hard of hearing, a storm shelter and a water harvesting system.
The federal aviation association will fund about 90 percent of that cost.
