Wichita County Constable Mark Brewer says he found more than an arrest suspect today in a Wichita Falls neighborhood.

He found a large amount of cocaine.

Constable Mark Brewer showed off the drugs he found earlier today in the 2700 block of Roanoke Drive.

He says it weighs just over half a pound and carries a street value of nearly $25,000.

Brewer says when he went to arrest a woman for outstanding warrants he noticed two men looking at him suspiciously.

And after escorting the woman to a patrol car, Brewer says that's when he literally stumbled across the cocaine.

"As I'm taking her to Matt's car, I put her in the back seat and close the door. Matt leaves. I turn around to get in my vehicle and there's this brown bag laying right by the storm drain," says Constable Brewer.

Brewer says it will be difficult to make an arrest since he didn't see who tossed the drugs.

His next step is to get a court order to have the cocaine destroyed.
