Patsy's House Receives Grant from Walmart

Walmart on Lawrence Rd. donated more than $2000 to to Patsy's House.
A Wichita Falls non-profit will be able to make a difference in the lives of dozens more children this holiday season thanks to a donation from a major retailer.

Walmart on Lawrence Rd. donated $2500 to Patsy's House Children's Advocacy Center.

Officials say the money is really helpful especially at this time of year.

Wade Perry, Walmart manager, says, "I think there probably comes a time with people that they need extra help and for the type of work they do, it goes a long ways."

Keri Goins, Patsy's House executive director, says, "In a time where government grants are shrinking and at Christmas time when we're trying to do a little bit extra, the extra donation has meant the world to be able to continue our services and to continue to extend our counseling hours and services for the kiddos that come here."

Patsy's House helps hundreds of physically and sexually abused children each year and works to seek justice for those victims.
