Police Identify 5 Victims From Accident over the Weekend

Police identified the five people thrown from their vehicle over the weekend.
Police have identified the five people ejected from a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning.

Police have identified those involved in the accident to be 18-year old Marquis Dennis, 17-year old Derrick Harley, 18-year old Lakarl Williams, 16-year old Xavion Smith-William, and 18-year old Kamary Williams.

Officials said that Marquis Dennis was driving the vehicle and was air lifted to the Metroplex for furthur treatment.

It happened around 1:03 a.m. on Sunday at the 3000 block of Kell West Freeway.

Police say a dark gray GMC Envoy was traveling eastbound when the vehicle lost control, hit the grassy median, rolled multiple times and came to rest in the oncoming traffic lanes of the 3000 block of Kell West.

Four of the victims were ejected from the vehicle and then taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the fifth victim was taken by personal vehicle.

Dennis was then taken by Air Evac to the Metroplex for further treatment a few hours later.
