Police: Man Arrested After Drug Sale Goes Bad

Keithan Williams is charged with aggravated robbery.
A planned sale of marijuana goes bad and the seller gets robbed both of the marijuana and personal belongings, according to charges filed on a 20-year-old man.

Keithan Williams is charged with aggravated robbery and is jailed on $750,000 bond.

Police say the victim first told them he had been robbed by two black males and a white female at Rotary Park behind Cunningham Elementary.

They say his first story was that he was walking to his car when the men got out of a car driven by the woman and chased and robbed him.

He says they put a gun to his back during a struggle and took his wallet, cell phone and keys.

The victim says he was later contacted by a resident who found his wallet on Elizabeth, and he went there and then saw the two robbers entering the house next door.

After police pointed out inconsistencies in his story, they say Williams admitted he had gone to the park to sell marijuana to the men and they robbed him.

Police say they recovered a BB gun on Elizabeth they believe was used in the robbery, and also have information on who the second robber may be.
