Police Release More Details in Seymour Hwy. Crash

20 year old Conner John Coughlin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following Wednesday's crash.
Wichita Falls Police are confirming tonight that a collision on Seymour Highway yesterday was no accident, and reportedly stemmed from an argument over drugs.

20 year-old Conner John Coughlin is in the Wichita County Jail, charged with aggravated assault.

Police say around 2, two vehicles were driving side by side on Seymour Highway.  Officials say a Hyundai driven by Coughlin hit a Mitsubishi Eclipse, causing it to spin near the entrance to Tanglewood.

A witness told officers someone in one of the cars threw their cell phone into a ditch.  Police were able to recover that phone, and say it may contain information about a drug deal.

Police say both parties were arguing earlier in the day about buying and selling drugs.  They also say there were three people inside the Eclipse, and an 18 year-old female passenger was taken to United Regional by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
