Three people are charged with aggravated robbery after WFPD officers say they tried to steal alcohol from a Wichita Falls convenience store overnight.
In just mere minutes, police say they were able to find and arrest three people who committed an aggravated robbery at a Wichita Falls store overnight by throwing beer cans at the store clerk.

Around 12:30 this morning, officers responded to a robbery with a weapon at the 7-11 in the 5300 block of Southwest Pkwy.

That's at the intersection with Barnett Rd.

The store clerk says a group of three people was trying to steal alcohol from the store.

When she went to stop them, the clerk says the three started throwing beer cans at her.

The robbers fled the store and drove away from the scene in a tan or silver pickup toward Kell.

Police found that vehicle and say several subjects were running from the pickup toward a residence.

They're identified as 23-year-old Daniel Green, 25-year-old Margaret Morris, and 25-year-old Jerry Smith II.

The three were arrested on aggravated robbery charges after questioning.

Each is jailed on a $100,000 bond.

As for the store clerk, police say she had injuries to her face and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
