Police Say Driver in Seymour Hwy Accident was Drunk

The driver responsible for a crash on Seymour Highway last night is charged with DWI.
    Wichita Falls police say a man who crashed his car on Seymour Highway last night was driving drunk.
    Forty-eight year-old Jeffrey Mark Cash of Henrietta is charged with driving while intoxicated.
    He has one prior conviction  for this charge.
    Officers say Cash was driving a truck near the intersection of Seymour and Kemp when he hit a fence and knocked down a light pole.
    First responders say he tried to leave the scene on foot before police arrived.
    He didn't get too far, and was arrested a short time later for DWI.
    Two dogs in his truck were taken by animal control.
