Police Search for Suspect in Store Robbery

Officers say the S&L store on Southwest Parkway was robbed Friday night.
Police are looking for who's responsible for the robbery of a Wichita Falls store last night.

Sgt. Charlie Eipper with the Wichita Falls Police Department says that crime happened at the S&L Beer, Wine, and Grocery store around 9 p.m. Friday.

The clerk there says a man wearing a camouflage mask entered the store and demanded money.

That clerk thought the robber had a gun but wasn't sure.

Sgt. Eipper says the robber took off with an undetermined amount of cash and fled eastbound from the store on foot.

The robber is described as a white male about 200 to 220 pounds wearing blue jeans, brown boots, and a gray sweater.

Police say they're checking the store's surveillance footage to learn more about the man.

If you have any information, you're urged to call Crimestoppers at 322-9888.
