Pope-Dotson to Seek Re-election for District Two Council Seat

Pope-Dotson has served on the Wichita Falls City Council for one term.
    After her first two-year term serving on Wichita Falls City Council, one city leader announces her plans to seek re-election.
    Annetta Pope-Dotson says she wants to serve the city's district two for another two year term on council.
    She says she'll seek the seat in the May 11 election.
    Pope-Dotson is a Wichita Falls native and a 1985 graduate of Rider High School.
    She says she returned to the city after spending more than 22 years in the Air Force.
    If re-elected, Pope-Dotson says she wants to continue her goals of beautification and the building up of District Two.
    Other city seats up for grabs in the election include Councilor at Large and Councilor District One.
