Pregnant Woman Runs 10 Half Marathons

A Nocona woman hopes to pass her love for running to her son.

Meg Ramsey says she was hooked to running after her first race.

When you are with that many people that are so passionate and so excited and when you cross the finish line there is an energy that you just can't explain and you are addicted from that point on,” she said.

Years later, her addiction has led her to a major milestone.

In fact its taken her 131 miles to get here with a baby in tow.

Meg has run ten half marathons while pregnant.

A goal she made for herself after being inspired by her friend grace.

At the duel, a 1.5, 2 years ago she ran at 32 weeks pregnant, and if i hadn't seen her do that, I probably never would have thought to keep running and to look into this and see how safe is this, what impact will this have on my baby,” Meg said.

Now, with only two months left until her baby boy is due, Meg is soaking up the success of her accomplishment.

Eager to tell her baby boy the message behind all her metals...

To show him about passion and persistent before he even comes out, that to follow your dreams and do what you want to do and do what makes you happy,” she said.

This summer Meg will have a couple things to be excited about.

Her baby is due in July and she'll also be featured in Vegan Health and Fitness Magazine for achieving her goal all powered by a vegan diet.
