Hundreds of Texomans ran and walked together Saturday morning uniting for one cause.

The Susan G. Komen race for the cure supported breast cancer awareness with one- mile and 5-k runs.

The race brought out athletes of all skill levels and ages.

And there was plenty to do, even if you didn't want to run.

Many organzations had tents set up to sell merchandise that supports the cause, and handed out educational information and snacks to runners.

Each runner had their own reason for joining the race.

"My great grandma lost the battle with breast cancer. My mom is still fighting it. This is why I am dressed up because of my mom and grandma," says runner David Lucas.

75 % of the money raised Saturday will help Texoma patients with screenings, testing and cancer treatments.

The rest of the money will be used for research at the national level.
