FallsFest kicks off tomorrow evening but it won't just be all of you who turn out taking part in the fun.

Health officials are urging you to take precautions against mosquitoes.

Crews have been treating Lucy Park but recent rains have washed away their efforts.

And, while health officials say no mosquitoes have recently tested positive for West Nile in the city the virus is still in the area.

"If you have a compromised immune system. If you're over 50 and you're in that category where you're concerned, I would definitely wear long sleeves, long pants, you'll want to put that extra barrier between you and mosquito and use mosquito repellant," says Susan Morris, with the environmental health division of the Wichita Falls Public Health District.

Health officials say crews will be treating the area as long as weather cooperates.

Gates at FallsFest open tomorrow at Lucy Park at 5 p.m.
