Snake enthusiast at the rattle snake hunt festival got to enjoy snakes in more ways then one.

The snake show highlighted professional handlers doing tricks with the rattlers.

Some snakes were being milked for their venom which scientist use to create anti venom.

And if you were hungry you could even take a bite out of some fried rattle snake.

The festival made one snake enthusiast's dreams come true.

“I wanted to see a lot of cool stuff today, I was looking, I wanted to catch a rattle snake too and I did! And I made them cook it for me, and then i ate it and it had a lot of meat on it,” says 9 year old Colten Green.

The money raised goes to the volunteer fire department.

The snake hunt continues Sunday.
