As we know, in a disaster such as this, it's all hands on deck for disaster workers throughout the region.
Oncor spokesman Mike Nieto says the Wichita Falls office sent eight employees to the Dallas/Fort Worth area ... and the American Red Cross of North Central Texas has sent six.
Mike Nieto says across the system, from West Texas to East Texas, more than three thousand people are without service ...
He says the majority of those outages are in the Metroplex.
Linda Stevenson, with the Red Cross, says  two volunteers headed to Dallas from Abilene, and three went from Wichita Falls.
Volunteers are helping with things such as distributing water and meals.
Stevenson drove to the Metroplex this afternoon to work as a liaison between emergency management and the Red Cross.

"It's hard, but we know what we have to do, and we get out and we do it. Our main focus is going to be on the people that were affected."
Stevenson says the Red Cross could use donations to the Disaster Relief Fund.
Over at Wichita Falls Municipal Airport, the first incoming flight of the day was cancelled, because so many planes were damaged at DFW ... so that meant the first outgoing flight was also cancelled.
The same went for the flight that was scheduled to arrive at 4:45 and depart at 5:15.
The city's airport administrator says American worked with passengers to reschedule or to bus them to DFW, if their connections had not been cancelled.
She says American expects the flight schedule to be back to normal this evening.
And you can check on the status of your flight through the airport's new website ... which you can reach by clicking here.
