A craving for some chicken wings, hot pockets and chocolate chip cookies is what landed one man behind bars.

A craving for some chicken wings, hot pockets and chocolate chip cookies is what landed one man behind bars.

Dan Green, 47, is charged with robbery.

Police say it happened Tuesday, around 9:30 a.m. at the Family Dollar in the 2700 block of Iowa Park Road.

Police say the Family Dollar manager watched Green leave the store when the store sensors went off.

They say the manager chased after him and brought Green back inside the store.

Then, police say, Green pushed the manager, injuring him and ran out.

Police later found Green in the 2000 block of Maurine Street and took him into custody.

His bond is set at $15,000.
