SAFB Airman Sentenced for Engaging in Sex With a 14 Year Old

The court martial started shortly before 10 a.m. and five hours later it was over.

Airman First Class Brandur Jensen pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl and to using his cell phone and the internet to try to entice two other under age girls to have sex with him.

All three girls lived in Reno, Nevada, which is where Jensen is from.

Jensen told the court he knew the girls were underage when the sexual assault and attempted enticement of sex took place took place from October 2012 to May 2013.

Jensen said he and the 14 year old, he had sex with, became friends when she was 12 and he was 16.

He said after joining the Air Force he was was stationed at Sheppard and contacted the 14 year old friend and they started having sexually explicit conversations via Facebook and Skype.

He also said they discussed having sex when he came home for Christmas in 2012 and that while home in Reno, a friend drove him to meet the girl and he had sex with her in the back seat of that friend's car.

As for the other two girls, Jensen says they talked online and by cell and they planned  to engage in sex when he returned home for his birthday in April 2013 but was not granted leave to make the trip.

After hearing from Jensen and two Air Force special agents who conducted the investigation, the judge judge took about an hour and sentenced Jensen to six months confinement, rank reduction from A1C to E1 and a bad conduct discharge.

The judge also ordered the forfeiture of all pay and allowances for Jensen.
