Salvation Army Extending Angel Tree Deadline

The Salvation Army is extending deadline to provide hundreds of children in need with a Merry Christmas.
The Salvation Army is extending deadline to provide hundreds of children in need with a merry Christmas.

Last week's winter weather prevented Texomans from getting out and about and the Salvation Army says that kept dozens of names from being selected off the organization's angel trees and returned by yesterday.

So, coordinators have moved the deadline date to allow the 130 remaining names to be selected.

The new date to select a name and return the unwrapped gifts to the Salvation Army is Tuesday, December 17th.

Angel Trees are located inside Sikes Senter Mall, Shoe Carnival and all three Walmarts in Wichita Falls and at the Cumulus Radio stations on Call Field Road.
