large portion of Texoma until 9 PM Sunday due to
light freezing drizzle expected to develop
after midnight.

  • Bitter cold returns to Texoma tonight.
  • Best chance for wintry mix:
    6 AM to 12 PM Sunday.
  • Most likely locations:
    east of a line from Lawton, Wichita Falls
    and Graham
  • Only light amounts are expected.
  • Main impact will be slick spots on bridges
    and overpasses
This evening
Bitter cold arrives tonight. Temperatures will drop
into the 20s by midnight for locations along and
north of the Red River, low 30s further south.
Gusty north winds 15-25 mph will put wind chill
values in the teens

Midnight to 6 AM
Very light freezing drizzle is expected to develop
after midnight north of the Red River. Temperatures
will be in the 20s with wind chill values in teens.

6 AM to Noon Sunday
The best chance for light freezing rain and sleet
along and south of the Red River will be from
6 AM to Noon Sunday. Temperatures will continue
to drop into the teens throughout the day. Can't
rule out a rumble of thunder in our southern and
eastern counties.

Sunday Afternoon
Another round of light wintry mix may develop
north of the Red River in the afternoon and push
east across Oklahoma.

All precipitation should be leaving Texoma from
west to east by 9 PM Sunday.

Lows Sunday night will drop into the low teens
and perhaps single digits.
