A chilly night ahead, but a slow warmup starts on Sunday

The cool, dry surface high will continue to settle south tonight and Sunday. Another cool night and day expected for Sunday. Stronger winds will mix down again on Sunday making for another windy afternoon. Lighter winds expected for Monday with a shift to southerly winds by late in the day as a trough to our west develops. A warming trend will commence Monday with 80s back for Highs across Texoma by Tuesday and continuing through the week.

Another storm system will approach the southern plains by late in the week. Some differences continue to show up between the models for the next big system especially when it comes to the rain chances. We will go ahead and put some low rain chances in for Saturday for now, and will update those throughout the week.
