Several Detained After Shooting in Burkburnett

Police say 2 groups of people were involved in a dispute when someone pulled out a gun and fired several shots toward a home on East College.

Burkburnett Police have detained several people after shooting Monday night.

Officers were called to the 700-block of East College Street around 9:30pm. Police say 2 groups of people were involved in a dispute.

Investigators say someone pulled out a gun and fired several shots toward a home on College, before taking off in a vehicle with one or two other people.

No one was injured, but the house and a car were shot. One neighbor tells us he was rattled by the incident.

Kenneth McDaniel says, “I was laying down on the couch inside of my house, I heard about eight or nine shots. About 25 or 30 minutes later, I came out here and I seen all of these cops out here, that's when I realized my neighbor's house got shot. I don't know who did it. I didn't see anything. I just heard the gunshots go off.”
