A tense day across parts of Texoma after a storm blew through earlier today.

It brought heavy rains, strong winds, lightning, hail and tornado warnings.

And according to the National Weather Service. the Young County town of Olney received each of those weather phenomenon.

Here's a look at at picture an Olney viewer sent us of a downed tree.

According to Olney's police chief, it is just one of many downed trees and limbs that littered the town and blocked some roads.

But while officials say a rotating funnel cloud was spotted in Olney it did not touch down.

So, what caused all the damage there?

According to the National Weather Service it was straight line winds.
